1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Merchant One Group LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit NeumannDesk.com, request access, create an account, or use Neumann Desk. NeumannDesk.com is a division of Merchant One Group LLC.

Neumann Desk is a research and cue workspace. It is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, bank, or exchange. Trades you choose to place are placed on your own accounts at third-party firms.

2. Information we collect

You provide

  • Name, email address, and password when you register or sign in
  • Plan preference (for example, manual cue or own agent) and tracking preferences you save
  • Brokerage names or nicknames you record as a preference — we do not ask for brokerage passwords or API keys on this website
  • Messages you send through in-desk research chat, if you use it
  • Cue acknowledgements (placed or skipped) on your subscriber view

From connected books (owner and approved operators)

  • Portfolio snapshots posted to the desk: positions, cash, quotes, fills, and related research fields needed to display the workspace
  • Those books are held so the desk can show current lots, charts, and recorded sold results. Subscriber views are sanitized and do not include owner account numbers or owner lot sizes

Automatically

  • Session cookies needed to keep you signed in
  • Basic request logs (time, path, approximate technical data) from our hosting provider, used to operate and secure the site

We do not require you to connect a brokerage API to use the public pages or to request access.

3. How we use information

  • Operate Neumann Desk, including sign-in, access approval, cues, research, and account display
  • Show recorded performance and workspace data to people who are allowed to see them
  • Respond to requests, maintain security, and prevent abuse
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your desk data to sell third-party advertising.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

  • Hosting and infrastructure. The site is hosted on cloud infrastructure. Those providers process data on our instructions to keep the service available.
  • Your broker. If you place a trade, you do that on your own brokerage or venue. That firm’s privacy policy governs the account you hold there. This website does not transmit your brokerage password.
  • The owner of a desk you join. If you are approved as a subscriber, the operator of that desk can see your registration details and how you mark cues. They do not receive your brokerage login.
  • Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect Merchant One Group LLC, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie (or equivalent) so the site can recognize you after you sign in. Clearing cookies will sign you out. The public landing, method, privacy, and terms pages do not require an account cookie to read.

6. Retention

Account records are kept while your access is active and for a reasonable period after it ends, unless a longer period is required by law. Snapshot and performance records that are part of operating the desk may be kept to maintain the historical record shown on the site. You may ask us to close an account by writing to us at the address above.

7. Security

We use industry-typical safeguards for a hosted web application (encrypted transport, restricted secrets, access-controlled accounts). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send brokerage passwords, signing keys, or other credentials through the public website or through chat.

8. Children

Neumann Desk is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Your choices

  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal account information we hold, subject to legal and operational limits (for example, records we must keep)
  • You may close your session at any time with Log out
  • Texas residents may contact us at the address above with privacy questions. If a newer state privacy law applies to you, write to us and we will handle the request in good faith

10. Third-party sites and market data

Charts, quotes, and other market displays may load from third parties (for example, charting or data widgets). Those parties have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their sites.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of NeumannDesk.com after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be posted on this page.
